2017 Foreign Trade Award

Again in 2017, the Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Award, also known as the ‘Export Oscar of the North’, was presented to companies for the eighth time, recognising exceptional successes in foreign trade. Companies benefit from the status and recognition for export achievements the award brings and lively media attention. For companies it is the chance of official confirmation of their success in exports and entrepreneurial skills by the State of Niedersachsen.

The Award was presented by the Niedersachsen Minister for Economics, Labour and Transport Olaf Lies on 26 April 2017 at HANNOVER MESSE during the 14th Niedersachsen Foreign Trade Day. Applications were welcome from all SMEs and large companies based in Niedersachsen; large companies are honoured in a separate category.
